We're Meghan & EmilyWe believe that community is everything, and we build more impact when we do it together.
We both started our careers in the social impact space and we’ve each got 10+ years of experience helping non-profits build their brands and tell their stories.
We’ve been where you are—feeling alone in our day-to-day work, trying to figure things out on our own, with little support. Meghan was the ED of a small non-profit where she was the only employee and Emily spent several years as a Communications Director seeking out resources that were non-profit specific, often coming up empty handed.
Now we lead communication strategies and branding and website projects to help social impact organizations connect with their communities.
We work with non-profits, social impact orgs, and campaigns for good because we care deeply about people and the planet. We want to help you amplify the incredible work you do so you can increase your impact and accomplish your mission.

We’re creating a fun, engaging and thoughtful community and we want you to be a part of it.

An online community could be set up in many different ways. The Social Impact Comms Club is set up on a platform called Circle where we can create discussion forums, group chats, and upload resources for you to access.

Live calls will be held on Wednesdays at 2pm (Atlantic time) through Google Meet. You will receive a calendar invite with a link to join the call.
Monthly 1-Hour calls will happen on the first Wednesday of the month, and co-working calls will happen on the third Wednesday of the month.
*The first call in January will happen on the second week of the month (Jan 14th, 2026) to accommodate folks getting back from the holidays.

We will share weekly prompts in a dedicated space in Circle by 10am (Atlantic time) on Monday mornings. These prompts will offer some inspiration for social media posts or newsletters you might be sending out that week.

Payment can be made by credit card through a secure payment processor called Stripe.
We do not accept cheque or e-transfer for the Social Impact Comms Club.
