We’ll guide you through a structured and organized process so you won’t be scrambling in-house at the last minute to pull it all together. We create a client portal for you where you can easily upload your documents to be included in your report and provide feedback on the draft deliverables. …a brand and website designer who started out in the non-profit world as an Executive Director scrambling to manage an outdated WordPress website and a brand with no strategy behind it.

Over the last decade, I’ve learned everything about building social impact brand identities and websites that build trust, and attract funders. That’s why I’ve developed my website packages.
My services were created specifically for social impact organizations, non-profits, and campaigns for good. I design showstopping websites on the easy-to-use Squarespace platform so you can worry less about outdated plugins and spend more time increasing your impact. Our Website Design Project Process
You can expect a streamlined and thoughtful process when working with me

We start by booking a 30 minute intro call to learn about you and your goals. You can ask us anything during this meeting to make sure we are a good fit for your project.

You’ll review the packages above including the project approach, timeline, and investment. Then you’ll decide which package you want to select and let me know. If you need any custom add-ons I will send you pricing and details via email.

Once you’ve decided to move forward, we will send over your contract and first invoice. Most projects are broken into two payments, one up front and one before deliverables are sent at the end of the project. In some cases we can break these into smaller payments for larger projects.

You’ll receive an onboarding package from us with details of our next steps. We set up your client portal in our project management software. We use Notion to keep track of the project deliverables, due dates, and gather feedback along the way. We send you a video walkthrough of the portal and how to use it.

Before our kick-off call we’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out about your website needs. We’ll book a kick-off call where we dive into your strategic priorities, your goals, and your design style. This is where you can share your vision for your website and we’ll take it all in.

Based on the strategy session, we'll develop an outline for each page of your website and a menu map. This will identify the pages we will create, and each section of each page. You review the outline and menu map at this stage to make sure everything you need is included. You can request up to two rounds of revisions at this stage to ensure the plan for your website fits you just right.
If we are writing your copy and sourcing stock photography for you, this will happen after this stage. If you are providing your website copy and images, these will be due to us at this stage.

We’ll design your website homepage based on the outline we’ve created and send it to you for feedback. Each package includes two rounds of feedback and refinements at this stage. After you’ve signed off on the design for the homepage, we will start to build out the rest of your website.

We’ll deliver the full website to you for feedback. Each package includes two rounds of feedback and refinements at this stage. We’ll make any required edits and get your site ready to publish.

To close out the project, we’ll book an off-boarding call with you and provide an off-boarding package with information on how to use and edit your new website. We work with Squarespace because it provides a very user-friendly experience, and we’re confident that most of our clients will be able to edit their site later with ease. If you do have any trouble, we offer 1:1 support for websites after they’re built. We can also craft a website launch announcement post for social media and help you share your new website with your community!

Yes, we can either transfer your existing domain to your new website when we are ready to launch it. Or, if you have never had a website and you need to purchase a new domain, we can set that up for you as well.

Yes. When we build out your new website on Squarespace you will need to purchase a yearly hosting plan with Squarespace. For most clients we recommend the Core plan. If you have a very simple 1-page website, the Basic plan may meet your needs. View Squarespace hosting plans and pricing.

Yes. We are a Squarespace Circle Gold partner. That means if you sign up for a Squarespace hosting plan through us, you receive a 20% discount on your first annual subscription.

We can write your website copy (all the words on your site) for you, but it’s not included in our packages. Copy writing would be an add-on and we can discuss pricing based on your project and needs.
We do provide a copy writing template to help you create effective copy for your website. Learn about the Wicked Easy Website Copy Template we provide. -
Typically, no. You would provide us the images and any other graphics and branded elements for your website at the beginning of the project. We can source stock photography for you for an additional fee. We can also recommend some great photographers if you’re looking to hire someone for a brand photoshoot.

Yes. We need you to have at least basic branding, including a color palette and brand fonts before we start working on your website.
We offer brand packages and we’d be happy to chat about adding on branding to your project.
